To raise critical funds to keep hurting children safe
After fundraising for two years, our organization Peace of Mind Emergency Shelter still doesn't have enough funds to furnish the new building, purchase equipment, or settle the loan to finish the safe haven.
Our property is almost ready to go. Only minor additions are needed in our approximately 8,000 square feet one story building. The shelter consists of roomy bedrooms, large family room, dining room, spacious kitchen area with pantry, activity room, reception area, waiting room, showers, multiple restrooms, conference rooms, offices, large outdoor space for youth to play, onsite laundry, and the list goes on.
Our organization needs to secure additional funding to remain on schedule for December. The shelter will serve about 150 children each year. Help us carry on our mission.

Every month, agencies receive more referrals for children in foster care than they have beds to accommodate. With your help, we will be able to provide more of these children with a good, safe home and bed to rest their heads.
