Founder and CEO
Tina Carroll
Tina serves Peace of Mind from a wealth of experience gained from her career as an entrepreneur, executive officer, and strategist over the last 11 years. She is passionate about engaging in the community to work together for the care and advocacy of vulnerable children. Tina is a natural “bridge-builder” and is gifted with the ability to bring people together for a common cause. As a foster parent, the Peace of Mind mission is deeply personal and heartfelt. Her life is a testimony of the powerful impact you can have on a child’s life when you choose to engage as a community to care for one another.

Our talented leadership team is comprised of individuals working and collaborating together to shape organization-wide decisions and share responsibility for the organization’s results. With goals of high performance, superior communication, and staff development, we are constantly raising our standard for excellence and accountability.

We envision to be an organization that keeps children away from further harm.

Justice is actively working with our communities to overcome social inequalities. This means seeking what is right, just, and fair, and ensuring the children have access to the resources and opportunities needed to grow and thrive.

Integrity is a personal and professional commitment to be accountable for our words and actions. This means being honest, transparent, and responsive to the needs and challenges presented in our work. Acting with integrity is essential to make an effective impact on the lives of the children we help.
Compassion
Compassion is showing care and concern for all children despite differences in race, gender, religion, or culture. This means showing respect and having a desire to understand the unique challenges and experiences our children faces.
Optimism
Optimism is the key to our ability to effect positive change while helping our children and communities become resilient, connected, and successful in the long run. This means we join together, collaborate, and find solutions to the grand challenges of our time. We build a brighter future for now and generations to come.
